What’s better than one? Two, clearly (at least that’s what years of informercials have taught me).

I’m a big fan of pour spouts, those toppers to bottles that allow you to control the flow of your pour. You’ve likely most often seen them sticking out of the end of a liquor bottle at the bar, but there are a few additional uses I assure you. In the kitchen, I find I am using a pour spout most often with my oil and vinegar. Olive oil seems to be added to almost Jokari Dual Flow Spouteverything I prepare, so an easy-access pour is a must. Though most of my oils (I keep at least 4 on the counter at any one time) are still topped with a single spout, there are a few doubles now. Jokari (a maker of all kinds of fun gadgets, including a neat device that makes your sink a drinking fountain!) makes a really cool double flow spout. It’s a wonderful way to control the speed of your pours; the spout has two openings; a small hole for a controlled flow or a larger hole for a full flow. You can control which side to use by sliding the topper open and closed.

Dual Flow Click Spout by JokariThe Jokari Dual Flow Spout is available in three colors; tangerine, lime and grape (why are kitchen gizmos always such wacky colors?)  with an airtight seal that will fit most bottle sizes. The Dual Flow Spout is additionally useful outside the kitchen, for dispensing lotions, soaps, liquors, oils and more.
