For brides who want a more modern approach to their festivities, a wine-themed event can be a great way to spend time with friends and family celebrating her upcoming wedding.” This is an especially fitting approach for brides choosing to get married in the Hamptons or on the North Fork, as these areas are part of the Long Island (NY) wine region. Such events can be personalized to best reflect the bride (and groom).

Wine-themed events can be structured or informal and will provide guests with a fun and informative time. Grand Cru Classes has also created a theme especially for bachelorette parties, “Aphrodite meets Bacchus & Lady Godiva,” a lighthearted look at the intersection of three joys in life – sex, wine and chocolate.

The minimum package ($595.00) includes: Two hours of private wine instruction with a credentialed wine educator;  tasting of five wines in crystal stemware, selected to complement the theme/topic and customized educational materials and tasting sheets for up to 12 guests.
