What better way to start the new year than meeting a friend for brunch at a restaurant on my
We decided to indulge in their bartender’s breakfast ($14) made with el Dorado 12-year-0ld rum, Pierre Ferrand 1940 Cognac, Nutella, coconut milk and Angostura bitters. We each sipped the libation through a red and white paper straw in the adorable small glass; it packed a wallop, tasting more like chocolate milk or a strong dessert. I’d absolutely recommend.

What’s not to miss it the savory salad niçoise sandwich. The Pan Bagnat Sandwich ($18) comes on on chewy crusty bread with a hearty portion of cooked tuna belly, some olive tapenade, a saffron aioli, sliced hard-cooked eggs, lettuce and tomato, served with some fingerling potatoes. I’d go back for that, the unusual drink — and the friendly service.
