If you’re wandering around Soho and need a place to grab a nibble, consider stopping at The Cupping Room Cafe. It’s is a restaurant, bakery and bar that’s been open since the 70s. So far I’ve only experienced breakfast, but with that friendly service, I’d return to try more.

The whipped and steamed “Expresso” eggs are light and fluffy ($11.25) served with fresh apples, berries and melon (add $2) and a selection of toasted house-made breads. While a bowlful of  McCann’s English-cut oatmeal topped with fresh berries comes with a side of brown sugar ($13).

Coffee is, of course, good ($2.25 a cup, $5.95 a Cafe Mocha).
