One night while visiting in Park City, we decided to go out for a quick light meal at Red Rock Brewing Company, just off I-80 at the Kimball Junction exit in the Redstone Center. If you’re in the area skiing, it’s a good place to take the kids that won’t break the bank and — with something for everyone — will satiate and satisfy.

We tried the unusual crab stack ($14) with layers of avocado mango, baby pea shoots, tomato, red onions and peanuts all topped with jumbo lump crap. We tossed the entire amalgam in the cucumber lime ginger dressing. We also tried the fresh salad with “superfood” ingredients,  baby kale, arugula, watercress, goat cheese roasted yellow and red beets, avocado, blueberries, grapefruit sections and toasted pistachio in a very light citrus balsamic vinaigrette.

One dining companion has the night’s special Kobe beef burger ($15) — which is exactly what he was in the mood for — with a side of way too doughy onion rings ($2) and fried pickles ($2). We had ordered a side of curly fries that arrived as large — disappointing — steak fries ($4).
