“The Beat Goes On” July 16-August 15 with the 2010 OC Fair and 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals and music. With more than a million fair-goers each year, the OC Fair features a variety of 09_lagrandeatnight01_lorestraditional favorites, including baking competitions and livestock displays mixed in with modern marvels such as chocolate-covered bacon and deep-fried butter.

The OC Fair will feature agricultural exhibits, home and visual arts displays, free community entertainment, two carnivals with a variety of twisted and turbulent rides and games, and a Fair food feast fit for gastric delight with jumbo turkey legs, foot-long corn dogs, funnel cakes and anything and everything deep-fried or on a stick.

New this year, OC Fair-goers have three different options for great entertainment, all for a wallet-friendly price. In the Pacific Amphitheatre, headline concerts feature Adam Lambert, Orianthi, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Faith Hill, ZZ Top and Fair-favorite “Weird Al” Yankovic. In The Hangar, Fair-goers can check out tribute bands covering Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Prince, Jimmy Buffet, U2, and Depeche Mode. Extreme sports enthusiasts can get their adrenaline pumping in the Action Sports Arena with motor home demolition derby, bull riding and motorcycle racing.

The Fair is open Wednesday-Friday noon until midnight; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.- midnight.
General daily admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (60+), $5 for children (6-12) and guests younger than 6 are free. Children under 12 are free every Thursday and guests older than 60 receive discount admission on Fridays. Parking is $7. Fair enthusiasts can also buy a Super Pass and enjoy the Fair all 23 days at one low price.
