We headed over to Disney Springs to dine a few times while I was in Orlando, as there were more than 60 options to eat, including 25 table-service restaurants. I must be getting old, as I found the noise level at dinner at these restaurants deafening.

Not surprisingly, Morimoto’s drinks lean toward Asian, with two of our cocktails made with Japanese whisky and sake. I sampled their Old Fashioned ($18) made with Suntory Toki whisky ($18), while another tried the sake sangria topped with fresh Asian pears and apples. Their Mai Tai is more traditional ($18), made with Cruzan coconut rum and a floater of Appleton estate rum.

Don’t miss their Berkshire pork lettuce wraps ($16). This platter of ground pork with shitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts flavored with hoisin sauce comes served with perfect baby iceberg lettuce cups. Also delicious are their lemongrass chicken dumplings with sweet corn and scallions ($12 for 4) served with fish sauce.

If you enjoy the flavor of Kung Pao chicken, you’d like their flash-fried cauliflower, served with red and green bell peppers, carrots and mushrooms ($16). I did.

I’d stick to these appetizers and a drink.

At Frontera Concina, we began with their margaritas, chips and various salsas.  Two of us had their Topolo margaritas ($18.00) made with Casa Noble reposado tequila, Gran Gala orange liqueur and housemade limonada.  I’d recommend, as I would, their chicken tinga tacos ($22), shredded chicken in a tangy morita chile (a smoked chipotle pepper) and onion sauce, refried black bean topped with queso fresco and served with guacamole and warm corn tortillas.
