Okay folks – they just opened so give them some time to get in the groove of things, but Michael’s downtown is in the spot on Court Street formerly occupied by The Blue Pearl. Featuring steaks, fish and pasta, the restaurant is owned by the same family responsible for Michael’s Trattoria in Wallingford. I was downtown, saw the lights and happened to walk in on their first night open for business. They’re still working on the decor, which is currently warmer than Blue Pearl, but not yet complete, and they served me a delicious plate of mussels, but didn’t have any bread or pasta to go with it…. yet. So give them time and this should be a great spot for lunch and dinner! Prices range from $9 to $32.

Went for Valentine’s Day. Incredible food and great servivce! As a business person in NH, I love trying new places, and this is certainly on the top of my list!
