I like Markt on the corner of Sixth Avenue and 21st Street as a perfect place for brunch. It’s welcoming, comfy and not too noisy.

We started with spicy bloody Mary’s ($10 for Tito’s; $ 11 Grey Goose) while deciding on what to order. The drinks are small but spiced nicely.

We split the veggie omelet ($16) with goat cheese accompanied by two crispy potato patty topped with onions and the poached eggs on a toasted English muffin with Norwegian smoked salmon with Hollandaise (we asked for that on the side), also served with the patties. With that, we had a side of crispy bacon (5 slices for $6).

I’d recommend a trip here for brunch.
