The Greenwich 2013 Wine + Food Festival, a three-day event presented by Serendipity magazine that benefits The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, will take place October 3-5, 2013, at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, CT. The festival will feature a Kick-Off Party on Thursday, October 3, a Grand Tasting Gala on Friday, October 4, and the Culinary Village on Saturday, October 5.

Thursday evening’s official weekend Kick-Off Party, featuring wines paired with gourmet hors d’oeuvres, is an introduction to the weekend’s featured chefs and event sponsors.

The Grand Tasting Gala on Friday evening will feature tastings by the event’s 13 chefs from Connecticut and New York, fine wine and spirit vendors, a live auction and a live musical performance by country musician Pat Green.

On Saturday, the Culinary Village, the center of the entire Greenwich 2013 Wine + Food Festival, will offer tastings and demonstrations from more than ninety food, wine, spirits and product vendors. Culinary demonstration tents and stages will house cooking presentations by celebrity chefs and local talent, including Duff Goldman, Graham Elliot, Sara Moulton, Ray Lampe (Dr. BBQ), sommelier Laurie Forster and Bravo “Top Chef All-Stars” winner Richard Blais.

In addition attendees will enjoy sommelier presentations, a beer garden, celebrity chef book signings, a Southern bash, the second annual Burger Battle and live musical performances by indie rock band Dispatch, with local group the Ian Murray Band opening the evening’s musical performances.  This event will take place rain or shine.
