I was invited to a Punzoné organic vodka tasting weirdly at a lingerie shop in Soho to sample their 2015 cocktail holiday collection. Although they promised Italian nibbles the passed apps were not enough to satiate. The friend I attended the press event with recalled that a new restaurant opened next door. We went there to fill our bellies.

Next door was Bó Càphė, a Vietnamese restaurant with a French twist created by a couple of friendly Israelis. What I’d recommend there is the Bò Bùn rice noodle bowl filled with those noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts, onion, shredded carrot, cucumber, fresh cilantro, fresh mint, chopped peanuts and came with one of their house-made vegetable spring roll. One of us had the chicken ($13), the other the sweet & sour shrimp ($16). It’s what I recommend if you’re in Soho and looking for a quick satiating something to fill your belly
