CorningWare National Recipe Contest
November 20, 2009Just one month remains to enter recipes into the CorningWare SimplyLite National Recipe Contest. The contest kicked off in August, inviting any/all home cooks (18 years and older, sorry child prodigies) to submit original recipes for baked goods, either savory or sweet. The twist of it is that the baked goods need to be “lite”. The recipe has to make a good faith effort to use ingredients that are low in fat and calories. The best part is, the grand prize recipe wins $5,000!
The contest runs through December 31, with a bake-off planned for early January at the Institute of Culinary Education (New York) to help choose the grand prize winner and five runners-up. Runners-up will receive a 10-piece CorningWare SimplyLite bakeware sets… yeah, try to win.
To participate, contestants should visit www.corningware.com to check eligibility and to read and agree to the Official
Rules which will then allow access to the registration page. If there are any difficulties uploading a recipe, you can email your recipes to corningwaresimplylitecontest@gmail.com.
You can’t win if you dont’ play…

Corningware SimplyLite is crafted of Vitrelle laminate, three layers of glass that produce a bakeware with a durability far exceeding that of any single glass composition. An alternative to weightier ceramic dishes, SimplyLite bakeware is easier to handle and maneuver in and out of the oven, to carry from kitchen to table, and for guests to pass while entertaining.
