After the Met opening of the Superfine of Tailoring Black Style, exploring the importance of black fashion, the five of us walked east to Tang by Mr Sun on Third Avenue as we were hungry. At the opening, the only food available was small paper bags filled with either pretzels or potato chips.

We ordered a variety of apps as we were hungry. We started with the interesting presentation of red lychee shrimp balls ($16 for 5) on the arms of a special holder, where the server added water to dry ice at the base, and smoke appeared all around them.

To that, we added chicken satay ($12 + $4 per additional stick), veggie spring rolls ($11), fried chicken potstickers ($14/4) and lobster sumai ($22/4).

We also ordered their black pepper beef $28) to enjoy while we were waiting for the whole peking duck ($80) to finish cooking.

After the tender and delectable duck, we were happily satiated.

I would recommend a visit.
