Posto’s happy hour special offers a free large regular pie with the purchase of a bottle of wine — perfect for me and my 
friend who always share one.
We decided to take our waiter’s recommendation for the kale salad. It was lots of curly kale dotted with manchego cheese shreds, dried currants and roasted pumpkin seeds in soy vinaigrette ($12). Fine for super-kale lovers but nothing I’d order again, generally preferring a blend of green.
The winner here — as you’d expect — is the thin-crust pizza. We ordered half a meat lover’s with marinara sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and sweet and hot sausage ($27 for a full pie) and half Parma with marinara sauce, mozzarella, crispy prosciutto and bacon, fresh arugula and green apples all drizzled with a balsamic reduction ($28 for a full pie). We paid only $12.50 (the price over a free plain pie), as we did ordered a bottle of wine, their Montepulciano ($30).
I’d return for this deal any time, I’d just try a different salad.
