Balthazar, known for traditional French bistro food, serves food all day — from 7:30 or 8 am until midnight or 1 am, depending on the day. Just be sure to make a reservation.

Last time I was there for breakfast. And, what’s more classic than quiche? I split half of the at menu-standard  Roasted Pepper & CIMG_7997armelized Onion and the Quiche Lorraine, that day’s special. Both are served with lightly dressed mixed greens ($11).  And both are worth the trip.
