Perfect brew strength depends on the coffee beans and purpose.
I like strong coffee in the afternoons and a medium in the AM.
Most coffee beans are better freshly ground.

I enjoy a strong French brew in the morning, but taper off to a medium brew or even a flavored coffee later in the day. In the evening, I rarely have coffee, but if I do, it’s likely to be a powerful espresso or cafe latte.

  16. Chef Andrew March 31, 2017 at 1:31 pm

As a Chef, my morning coffee I like it so strong I need a knife and Fork to start me up. Then, my afternoon ration, I will prefer just extra strong with a square of Mexican chocolate. My day off, I like it strong as well….strongly spiked with Jameson Irish.
