When we learned that Jonathan Groff would be playing his final performance in the Broadway musical Just In Time (Circle in the Square Theatre) as Bobby Darin on Sunday, March 29, 2026, we had to get tickets. He’s the one I loved playing King George in Hamilton so much that, while watching it on Disney+, I’d rewind and watch it again. And again.

If you haven’t seen it yet, grab some tickets to this delightful musical about Bobby Darin’s life and music.

We grabbed a bite at Toloache, a perfect spot when going to Circle in the Square, as it’s around the corner. While waiting for our friend to arrive, we started with drinks (a De La Casa margarita, $19, and the non-alcoholic Paloma Blanca, $13) and their traditional guacamole and chips ($17). We requested it spicy.

One friend enjoyed the Hamachi ($22) with yellowtail, Meyer lemon, cucumber, red onion, huichol salsa and crispy avocado; another requested their pulled chicken enchiladas with mole sauce ($32), which came with Mexican cheeses, crema and avocado-radish salad. That’s what I’d order when I return, with its complex, deep flavors. I had sampled the quesadilla de camarón ($22), a tortilla with shrimp, chile de arbol salsa, Chihuahua cheese, and pineapple-red onion salad.
