Eataly’s rooftop has been transformed into Amalfi, inspired by SERRA by Birreria’s ever-changing seasonal themes. I enjoyed their exceptional $27 two-course lunch with a friend on a perfect spring afternoon, on a rooftop surrounded by lush, garden-like lattice reminiscent of an Italian vineyard.

To accompany our meal, we took advantage of their Wednesday 50%-off bottles and ordered the Dolcetto D’Alba 2022 Mirafiore from Piemonte (originally $80, but just $40 on Wednesdays!), a dry, fruit-forward, medium-bodied wine that paired beautifully with our selections.
Next, we shared the Insalata Primaverile, featuring frisée lettuce, radicchio, artichoke leaves, peas and additional pea tendrils, all tossed in a lemon dressing and finished with slivers of grana padano cheese. We also savored every drop of the delicately flavored lemon tagliolino egg pasta), lightly topped with grated Granarolo Pecorino Romano, parsley powder and fresh lemon—simply heavenly.
I highly recommend a lunch at Amalfi.
