Eating icecream makes me smile because when I don’t feel good enough to eat anything else, I know that I can eat icecream. In no time at all, it makes me feel better so I make sure to always have some in the icebox.

My Parents owned a “Mom and Pop” Grocery Store during the 1950’s to the late 1970’s. They made use of inexpensive food to keep two adults and six hungry children well feed. My parents selected healthy foods for us to consume (including lots of fresh fruit and vegetables). Nevertheless, at times we made use of expired products, dented cans or items that didn’t sell in a timely fashion.
The stores’ freezer section always held cartons of my Father’s favorite brand of ice cream – Dryer’s! We knew we were in for a special treat, whenever he said “Let’s have a party”. We knew that meant; we’d each be given a bowl of Dryer’s ice-cream for desert.
I’m happy to say that the ‘tradition” of “Let’s have a party” continues! I’m a grandmother now and I enjoy serving my favorite brand of ice cream – Dryer’s to my grandchildren.
I love Edy’s Slow Churned Ice Cream. Hubby is a diabetic and I need to loose weight and the Registered Dietician at the grocery store said this ice cream was fine to eat. And it is delicious

WHY do I LOVE ice cream?? The many many many flavors! Endless. The way it feels on my tongue! I adore to eat ice cream veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrry slooooooooooooowly. LOL Just letting it melt away. I eat it all year round.
Ice cream- the ultimate comfort food! I associate it with celebrations and crave it when I need a pick-me-up! There’s nothing more fun than giggling with my toddler over a messy sundae! It’s nostalgic for me, and I’ve always thought it was such a genius invention!
It’s sweet, creamy and tastes delicious, especially in the summer!
Sometimes you just need it. When I have Edy’s slow churned I know it is a quality ice cream and enjoy it any time of the yesr. Love to make banana milk shakes with yogurt in it too!

Eating ice cream gives me a reason to smile because it reminds me that we are “allowed” to indulge every once in a while without feeling guilty.
it makes me think back to the days i was a kid and we would go to carmens our local ice cream parlor,and i used to enjoy it every time we went there. i still smile today when i think of those times
If eating Ice Cream does not make you smile then nothing will. There is nothing better on a nice hot day than a heaping bowl of ice cream.
