Sous – The Rachel’s cottage cheese products can be found in most Whole Foods Markets. I also know it’s available in most Publix supermarkets. The savory flavors peaked my curiosity, so if you do try some let us know your thoughts.

Couldn’t find it at Whole Foods…maybe it’s “too new” just yet. I agree with Eric, the savory flavors are what entice me to try it.

According to the company spokesperson it’s only at about 20 percent distribution and it will be available nationally by summer.

I tried the Tomato Basil pesto and it is delicious. I am definitely going to try all the flavors!
I’m glad you were able to find your way to Bite of the Best. Please let us know what you thought of the cottage cheese, and if there is a particular flavor that stood out. Thanks, and enjoy the taste testing.

I am in love with these! I love the cucumber dill and the sundried tomato pesto and the roasted red pepper. The sweet flavors are ok for me. My 14 month old loves the cucumber dill as well

I live in New Jersey and just saw Rachel’s cottage cheese advertised in Shop-Rite’s weekly circular (3/29/09 4/4/09) for 5 for $5. The circular also mentioned that the cottage cheeses are new to Shop-Rite supermarkets

I tried the Rachel’s cucumber dill cottage cheese and did not like it. It was very sweet (has added sugar), and the cucumber paste on the bottom tasted like cucumber jam.

I’ve tried the sun dried tomato pesto and the cucumber dill and love them both! All of the flavors are available at Whole Foods but at least in DC are $1.69 which is a little pricey.

I tried both the roasted red pepper and the cucumber dill but I didn’t like either one. I thought the cucumber dill is flavored with WAY too much dill—great in a pickle but not in cottage cheese. I just didn’t like the taste of the roasted red pepper/cottage cheese combo. Think I’ll stick with plain cottage cheese.

I agree. As a grab-and-go item – they’re fine. But I too prefer the taste and texture of plain cottage cheese with my own fruit mixed in.

I tried the Cucumber and the Red Pepper and thought they were very refreshing and different. I don’t like the price, but for the convenience, I’ll splurge.

I found the Pomegranate Orange Cranberry, Pear Mongosteen, & Lemon Verbena in KROGER’s organic section! Pomegranate was wonderful! Not TOO sweet, very nice consistency, super refreshing! Definitely will be on the lookout for the savory varieties!

Tried the cucumber dill after running 4 miles and working in the yard for 2 hours in 94 degree Florida heat and humidity (heat index 100)……..the sodium content was very high, but I think it was exactly what I needed…..only bought one container…..so I ate half and saved the rest for the hubby, who went fishing for 10 hours…..it was delicious!!!! Cool and refreshing!!!! I will buy several containers next time.

I had Rachels while visiting Florida. I loved it! I like cottage cheese so this was such a treat to find in the individual serving like yogurt. Can’t wait till I find it locally.

I find Rachels’ cottage cheese and yogurt at Meijer. Both products are just the best and the advantage of buying at Meijer is the Price (4/$5) and the register coupon for $1 off my next purchase. They could probably tell me it’ll be $1 more and I’d still buy it! Great stuff.

I have been unable to find Rachel’s cottage cheese at Whole Foods for a few months – and it is not on the Rachels website. Is it still available anywhere else?

Hi Barbara,
Rachel’s used to be one of my clients here at Ketchum PR. Unfortunately it is no longer on shelves!
I’d like to try this product, but don’t know where to find it!

I just saw it in the new Albertson’s weekly sales ad, which prompted me to google it and check into it. I’m definitely going to try it!
