I have used these gloves for over 5 years. My son gave these me a pair because I was always burning myself when takiong thing out of the oven. I enjoyed them so much I purchased another pair for our 5th wheel to use when we so camping. I recoommend them to everyone.
I enjoy cooking and give these to newly weds and as house warming gift.

I suggest returning them to the store for a replacement. I emailed the PR person who we worked with on this, but learned she no longer represents the company. She forwarded your concerns to the person who currently does rep them… So hang tight — as we’re still trying to get a response from the company for you…

My husband purchased 2 of these silicone okra mitts and they ripped! Right in the thumb grove! They just started coming apart! Does anyone know the manufacture so I can shoot them an email? I am shocked this happened.

This mitt is worth it just for it’s delightful color and unusal design. I don’t think it’s ugly. And, I’m going to look for one in my area. I can’t wait to flip my own ribs and not have the messy metal turnover, the spills and the other mess associated with my attempts to bbq.

Big bonus is that I can chase my husband around the house with it! He hates blue crab claws.

Loving “Bite” more and more, especially now that Eric’s sense of humor shines through. Great fun to be able to write and work with family, not to mention it adds a slightly different perspective to each reviewed item.
