NuNaturals makes the best tasting stevia, my favorite all natural zero calorie sweetener. Other brands I’ve tried always have a funky aftertaste, but not NuNaturals. Love this stuff: nunaturals.com. — blogger Heather Demetra

I like SweetLeaf Stevia!
I love NuNaturals products. As a culinary professional, media personality, author and certified herbalist, I know Nu Naturals is right on the cusp of what’s happening now, natural food wise. Their stevia products are the best – never bitter. And their throat spray has saved me from many a squeaky voice when I’ve had to do back to back tv shows, classes, etc.
I have used their Stevia in many recipes calling for sugar, and their Baking Blend which is a substitute for sugar, has proved itself to be a winner in baked goodies like cookies, cobblers and more. I just made a cherry cobbler for my family and substituted Nu Naturals baking blend for the sugar – it was awesome and no one knew the difference!
What I also like about their baking blend is it’s a great way to add fiber in baked goods. It contains different kinds of fibers, both soluble and insoluble which helps your digestion.
Anway, log onto NuNaturals sight for my recipes, or my own site at Abouteating.com for lots of fun food, family and fun. There’s timely information about Stevia (that wonderful natural sugar substitute) on both sites.

I’ve baked with my SweetLeaf Stevia too in chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, and cranberry muffins and they turned out well!
One thing you need to think about when using a stevia product that you can use one-to-one with sugar is that something must be added for that too happen, and it’s probably some kind of sugar. Most stevia companies add sugar alcohols, maltodextrin, dextrose or a combination ofthem to their product, which is all sugars. A few I know of have at least 95% sugars and most use ethanol, methanol, solvents, enzymes or a combination of these druing extraction, which may cause an aftertase and remove the natural nutrients of the stevia leaf. So, many stevia compnaies add masking agents to cover up the taste.
SweetLeaf has no sugars and no chemicals blended with product or used in processing. They use only pure water during the entire process. They use no masking agent and the nutrients of the leaf remain. This is why SweetLeaf has 0 calories, 0 carbs, and a 0 glycemic index–I understand the only stevia prodjct that retains all three of these natural properties ofthe stevia leaf. The powder is blended only with soluble inulin fiber, a digestive aid.
I absolutely agree with you that stevia is awesome and I don’t worry about the downside of eating something sweet. I always keep some packets in my purse for when I order Ice Tea while out. I found that NuNuaturals is the best. In my purse the packets don’t get all sticky or clump together after time. Plus the flavor is really good. I also tried the NuNaturals stevia baking blend. I made some cookies the other night and they turned quite tasty, like the extra fiber. Sometimes I put a little protein powder in to create more carb/protein balance. I love the NuNatural products. In fact, I think I will go make some apple crisp right now with lots or organic cinnamon and NuNaturals Stevia! 🙂
