If you want true steel cut texture and flavor in just 4 to 5 minutes, I found an incredible oatmeal called "Coach's Oats" that is better than anything else. People I know who hated oatmeal before now love Coach's Oats because it's easy (microwave or stovetop) and has no additives, just whole-grain oats. The Coach apparently found a way and he patented it. I got it at a Costco in California but it's also on his website at www.coachsoats.com. Read his great story there, too.

As an active adult who coaches tennis and track, I believe in healthy eating. I am a big oatmeal eater. Its high fiber content is good for maintaining balanced diets. I am the person who throws fruit, nuts and granola on top, with a dab of peanut butter very awesome taste. I have been using the Mccann's brand because of the oat's texture.
