I have a fabulous product to recommend. It’s a wonderful healthy oatmeal that tastes great. I have never eaten oatmeal prior to now. The product is Mad Hectic Oatmeal. You can check it out at www.madhecticfoods.com The founder is Beth, a breast cancer survivor. She’s amazing and we need to get the word out on such a great product. It is selling in Whole Foods Market in a few locations. Thanks so much- Wendy Hanson

Sounds great, although it’s really expensive and uses the mushy quick oats. Here’s another great oatmeal people should try: Coach’s Oats. It cooks in 4 to 5 minutes and isn’t mushy or pasty. Its texture is like steel-cut oats but easily cooks in a microwave. And the price is reasonable. I found them at Costco or at their website at http://www.coachsoats.com.
I have never liked oatmeal of any kind–in fact, felt sick after eating it! I love this oatmeal because of it’s texture and it has flax and protein powder. It cooks in 3 minutes.
It’s pricey–but well worth it to get me to eat oatmeal!
I love oatmeal and prefer the old fashioned to either quick or instant. As a cost savings I have used the store brand for years but my friend bought me Quaker’s Old-Fashioned by mistake and it is so perfect I’ll never buy store brand again.
Because it was so good i bought steel cut and di not like them at all.
If you love old-fashioned oatmeal, I strongly urge you to try Silver Palate Oatmeal. It is the finest I’ve ever tried, and reasonably priced, too. I usually make it in the microwave (follow the directions and be sure to reduce the heat or you’ll have an enormous boil-over!). I can usually find it at Target, but have bought it online, too.
