I love to bake!! If it’s not butter, than what is it?

  2. foodie-alberta Says:

Yes.. I also (like LuLu) love to bake! Cutting the fat out of my cookies would be great, but I’ve never found margarine to work as well. Can the company suggest how to best use it? Would you substitute the same amount for butter? Bake at the same temp?

  3. bobbin Says:

I would love to know if it works exactly the same, measure for measure, as real butter. I love baking and having a healthier baking alternative would be great!

    Hi,

You can substitute I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Cooking + Baking sticks 1 for 1 in your recipes with butter. It tastes, bakes and cooks JUST like butter, with half the saturated fat, no cholesterol and 0gs of Trans fats.

I useed the baking sticks yesterday for the first time making toll-house cookies. The batter went flat in the oven, I tried adding more flour which improved the appearence of the cookie. But the taste is not the same as butter, it doesn’t bake like butter, and it has given me stomch pains which have lasted all night. I’m throwing my cookies away, never again will I use this.

Hi so I was wondering if you can use the stuff in the tub for baking as a substitution for butter? I know they sell sticks of I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER but right now I only have the tub and I was wondering if that would work as well as the sticks? Thanks!
