Green & Black’s new Peanut bar blends our premium 37% milk chocolate with caramelized peanuts and a hint of sea salt. Green’s & Black’s Peanut bar (3.5 oz) will be available at major retailers nationwide starting Winter 2009. The new Peanut bar will retail for $3.49.

Green & Black chocolate is my favorite chocolate. The peanut bar was retched. The sweet from the caramelized peanut added a cheapness to the taste. However, the overpowering taste of sea salt ruined the chocolate bar. I love Green & Black, and I occasionally enjoy M&Ms. The Peanut Bar is simply the worst chocolate bar I’ve eaten. Epic Fail!
I bought one of these yesterday and while I saw there was salt in the bar, I did not realize the chunks of salt were as big as the peanuts. So I alternated between chewing a peanut and chewing a chunk of salt. It was strange, I must say, but not bad. The chocolate was delicious as usual. I can’t say whether or not I would buy this again. I will finish the bar I have and see how I feel about it then. I would like to know who in the organization thinks up these things…what an odd combination.
