Cluck N’ Moo Grass Fed Beef & Chicken Burgers are half beef, half chicken patties that are antibiotic and hormone free. These burgers contains 34% fewer calories, 52% less fat and 57% less saturated fat than a typical grass fed beef burger.

Each 4-ounce burger contains 190 calories, 4 grams saturated fat (of 11 grams total), 85 milligrams sodium and 21 grams protein.

Olivia Ostunio, intern at Bite of the Best: the flavor and mouth feel of this burger is more like lean beef than chicken. I recommend seasoning the lower-fat patties before grilling as they are bland. I used a salt-free blend to enhance the natural flavor of these healthy alternatives to ground beef burgers.

Bonnie from Bite of the Best  – After my intern Olivia sampled these, the company introduced a version with added kale, the year’s hot veggie. I had to try them, finding no veggie flavor in the cooked burger. If you like your burgers well done and are looking to save fat and calories, then consider these. With the ground chicken in the patties, these must be cooked to 165 F.
