It’s the battle of the soup kettles when twelve Central Coast chefs showcase their best artisan soups during the 3rd annual Grand Ole Soupabration: Soup, Wine and Wildlife, on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2 to 5:30 p.m., at Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria. Tickets are now on sale.

Chefs from San Luis Obispo to San Simeon and in between have joined this year’s event to benefit Pacific Wildlife Care in Morro Bay. Judges, including Southern California celebrity chefs and local media personalities will pick the best soups in four categories, while attendees will select a Taster’s Favorite award.

Attendees can also sample olive oil, artisan breads, artisan chocolates, cookies and gourmet popcorn, with an option of tasting wine and hard apple cider from the 10 wineries at the event.

Pacific Wildlife Care “wildlife ambassadors “will meet and greet guests throughout the afternoon, also filled with auctions, raffles and a wine wheel.

For tickets — $45 for soup tasting and food sampling; or $60 for soup tasting, food sampling and wine tasting, including a souvenir wine glass — click here or stop by  Forden’s in San Luis Obispo or A Matter of Taste in Cambria
