The Crystal Boots and Silver Saddles 5th annual gala to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research takes place Friday, October 14, 2011 from 7:00 – 11:00 pm at the Mason Murer Art Gallery located on 199 Armour Drive. The event will feature 15 of Atlanta’s top chefs including Ford Fry of JCT Kitchen, Chris Hall of Local Three, E.J. Hodgkinson of Woodfire Grill, Gerry Klaskala of Aria and more.
The night will include a mock casino with roulette wheels, Texas hold ’em and blackjack tables; plus a mechanical bull, line dancing, live music from Talk Journey to Me, a silent auction and a raffle.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Institute — an organization seeking an early diagnostic test for the disease.
